The Corning-Painted Post area has a population of approximately 30,000. City of Corning

The City of Corning is nestled along the banks of the Chemung River. Home to upscale shops and restaurants, historic Market Street is the venue for many community events and gatherings. Corning Incorporated, the region's largest employer and a Fortune 500 corporation, maintains its world headquarters in the small community where it began more than 150 years ago.

Painted Post

A smaller town with its own vibrant community, Painted Post is host to newly built homes and residential communities in nearby Erwin. Painted Post's Colonial Days parade and celebration is a popular annual event for residents and visitors alike.
