Five members of the CPP High School Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) competed at the NY State Spring Conference from April 19th through April 21st at the Joseph A. Floreano Riverside Convention Center in Rochester.
There were 38 NY State Chapters competing in various objective testing and performance events. The CPP students who participated in the events were Ashley Brodeur, Ethan Jiang, Erika Liu (semi-finalist), Brandon Ogunwumi and Aiden Spoors (semi-finalist). There are 5 top place winners for each event and the top 4 places have earned the opportunity to compete (5th place winner is an alternate) at the National level in Atlanta June 27th-June 30th. Ashley Brodear, a 12th grade student, earned 1st place in Economics. Brandon Ogunwumi placed 5th in Business Management as a 9th grader.
