Children under the age of 14 must wear a bike helmet in New York and as part of Little Hawk Threads, the Steuben County Sheriff's Department will be on hand to help your children stay safe while riding a bike! Deputy Ramirez and Hugh Gregg School Resource Officer Deputy Kimmey will be available to fit your child for a free bike helmet. The fitting is during Little Hawk Threads, Saturday, May 13th from 9 to 12 at Hugh Gregg Elementary School. The helmets will be distributed at a future date!

The CPPHS Bass Club is back on the water! Here are the results of the first tournament of the year, April 29th, at Conesus Lake: Travis Dibble and Zach Tubbs, 3rd place with 19.48lbs (5 fish). This was first tournament they fished! Matt Simmers and Brayden McNeal, 4th place with 18.81lbs (5 fish) Kayleb Work and Ethan Hurd 7.21lbs (2 fish)

Congratulations to the National Honor Society Spring 2023 Inductees! The ceremony was held last night and welcomed 109 students into the National Honor Society, while recognizing the graduating seniors, too. A special presentation was made for the NHS Teacher of the Year. Senior NHS member Anjali Mangalagiri introduced recipient Mr. Joe Melanson, CPPHS Business and Technology teacher. Congratulations to all of the students and Mr. Melanson!
