Tomorrow evening the Board of Education will recognize a Transportation Department employee who wrote a children's book!

Over 1700 items were collected during the Severn Food Drive! Thank you Roadrunners (and Mr. Watson for the photo!)


Here is another update from the Calvin U. Smith Student Leadership Team (Kindness Squad): Here is the "Kindness Squad" led by Ms. Ayers, Ms. McCabe and Ms. Crane with their "Toys for Tots" donations. Ms. Ayers said, "Smith School School collected over fifty stuffed animals and toys in the past two weeks. Students were extremely excited and pleased to be able to give children a furry friend of their own this holiday season. It was also 'Holiday Headwear and Holiday Socks Day' for Smith Spirit Day!"


High School Holiday Instrumental Concert, tomorrow (Tuesday, Dec. 20th) at 7 pm.


Calvin U. Smith Student Leadership (Kindness Squad!) put together a drive for Smith School to help the community by collecting canned goods and other food items. The school collected most of November. Teacher Ms. Ayers said, "We overflowed three shopping carts full of donations for the Painted Post Food Pantry!" Way to go Smith!
