Solar Eclipse Spirit Day is this Friday!

Calendar update: Due to the fact that we have had a mild winter, the District did not use all of its emergency days. The District will be closed on Friday, May 24th. This creates a 4 day weekend around Memorial Day.

Skylar Kellar (former Calvin U. Smith student) is the President of Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society at CCC. They recently held an early childhood book drive, and Skylar stopped by Smith to drop off book donations that will go directly to students! Principal Mrs. Wolfe said, "We are also working with them to schedule guest readers in our classrooms in late April!"
Thank you Skylar and Phi Theta Kappa!

The CPPHS Youth Activation Committee raised over $11,500 for the Special Olympics! On Saturday our Hawks did the Polar Plunge in Ithaca. YAC advisor Mrs. Pierce said the CPPHS YAC won the Cool School Challenge and raised the most of any teams at the plunge! Here are the Polar Plunge team and individual fundraising totals: http://events.nyso.org/site/TR?fr_id=3030&pg=entry

Together as one, CPP's young scientists from across the district showcased their projects at the 32nd Annual CPP Science and Engineering Fair this morning.
Thank you to all of our students, their families, our evaluators, helpers and planners for making today possible!
We'll post more photos this coming week.

Please note: Immunization records are required by law. There are only 14 calendar days from the first day of school (date to be determined) to provide these records. Failure to provide these records prohibits your child from being able to attend. If you do not have these records or if you need assistance in making an appointment to get records, please reach out to the main office of the school where your child will be attending and we will have our school nurse or school social worker help you.

We wish the best to our Spelling Bee students today!
